The work of Ripon artist Dick Folse will be featured in the Town Square Lobby Gallery throughout February.
The gallery, located at 492 Hill St., Green Lake, is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Folse lives on the Ceresco Prairie in Ripon. He produces original oil and watercolor paintings of the prairie near his home and the Green Lake area.
“We’re thrilled to have Dick Folse’s beautiful art on display in the front lobby,” Town Square Operations Manager Tami Doering said. “His original works add such a warmth to the area.”
Folse earned his master of fine arts degree from Illinois State University in 1990, where he studied studio art with notable landscape painters James D. Butler, Harold Gregor, and Ken Holder, and had a lengthy internship with painter James McGarrell. He has taught art at Bradley University, Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan University.
Folse has traveled extensively and worked on plein air painting. He won the Award of Excellence at the 2024 Green Lake Fine Art Show and has exhibited nationally and internationally.
He founded and is the president of the award-winning group, Art MidWisconsin.
