Khloé Kardashian’s Bratz Doll Halloween Costume Drew Criticism for Highlighting Her Light Skin

Khloé Kardashian’s Halloween Bratz doll outfit has been accused of “black fishing.”

The Kardashians star posed in photos posted to Instagram on Tuesday, wearing a long-sleeved white shirt underneath a yellow-patterned minidress.

She also wore a similar yellow hat over her extraordinarily long platinum blonde hair and carried a handbag with the Bratz name written in crystals.

The co-founder of Good American’s followers, on the other hand, didn’t notice her clothing since they were focused on something else.

Users in the comments section slammed Kardashian’s skin tone, with one calling it “10 times darker” than usual.

A fan expressed her desire to “be black sooooooo bad,” while another wondered, “Why is she three shades darker than usual?”

Others chastised Kardashian, 39, for “blackfishing,” a term used to describe white public figures, celebrities, or influencers who utilize tanning, makeup, or other techniques to appear black or mixed-race.

“Black fishing periodddd,” joked one enthusiast.

“Black fishing heaux,” said a second. “Girl who the hell is this, you’re not even recognizable.”

Despite the fact that her sister Kim Kardashian and friends Olivia Pierson and Natalie Halcro were all dressed similarly to Khloé, she seemed to be the only one receiving criticism for her style.
