This month, Goose Creek CISD hosted the Family Wellness Festival, welcoming over 1,200 attendees to the Goose Creek Memorial campus for a spirited day of health education, community resources and family-friendly fun. With participation surpassing last year’s numbers, the event highlighted the district’s commitment to wellness and the strength of community partnerships.

Nineteen campuses contributed to the festival’s vibrant atmosphere by hosting interactive booths. Attendees from 29 campuses participated, as well as collaborations from multiple district departments to create a memorable and impactful event for the entire community. A total of 150 attendees took part in the Chit Chat session on the dangers of fentanyl. Booth activities ranged from engaging demonstrations to health screenings and educational displays, fostering a spirit of community connection.
