The William Floyd High School Automotive Technology Academy, part of the district’s award-winning Career and Technical Education (CTE) offerings, recently received a donation of two 2012 Dodge 1500 Ram trucks from their community partners and supporters at the Haugland Group LLC. With this latest donation, Haugland has donated three vehicles over the past year – including a 2017 Dodge 1500 Ram truck – to support the work being done in the Automotive Technology Academy. Students will be using these trucks to continue learning various aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair including tune-ups, oil changes, engine and transmission repair and much more!
Special thanks to the Haugland Group LLC, an organization that continues to be a great partner for the William Floyd School District CTE program, for supporting the work with donations of vehicles, job shadowing opportunities, headquarter visits, networking opportunities, trips to Citi Field and more!
