วันที่ 4 เม.ย.68 ศ.นพ.ธีระวัฒน์ เหมะจุฑา ประธานศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศ ด้านการแพทย์บูรณาการและสาธารณสุข และที่ปรึกษาวิทยาลัยการแพทย์แผนตะวันออก มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต โพสต์เฟซบุ๊กระบุข้อความว่า ธรรมชาติอยู่กับตัวเรา… รู้จักใช้เพื่อชีวิตและรู้จัก การรักษาด้วย “อึ” การใช้ชีวิต ดำรงชีวิตยังขึ้นกับการบริโภคอาหาร และสิ่งที่ตามมาอันเป็นผลของกระบวนการย่อย ดูดซึมของสารอาหาร และแน่นอนรวมทั้งสารพิษเข้าร่างกาย ทุกอวัยวะ รวมทั้งสมอง การกำหนดเลือกชนิดของอาหาร และพยายามหลีกเลี่ยงสารเคมี สารกันบูด ผงปรุงรส (ซึ่งในปัจจุบันมีการใช้เกินระดับปลอดภัยมากมาย) แม้จะป้องกันได้ระดับหนึ่งแต่ยังมีอีกอวัยวะหนึ่งคือลำไส้ที่บรรจุด้วยจุลินทรีย์ เป็นหมื่นเป็นแสนชนิด แบคทีเรียเหล่านี้เป็นตัวเลือกจะเอาของดีหรือพิษเข้าตัวเหมือนอย่างที่ถกเถียงจะกินไข่แดงได้แค่ไหน คำตอบคือกินได้ ถ้ามีแบคทีเรียที่ไม่สกัดสาร TMAO ที่ทำให้เส้นเลือดตัน นั่นหมายถึงอาหารประจำชีวิตควรต้องเป็นผักผลไม้เป็นพื้น ไม่ใช่เนื้อสัตว์ ลำไส้จึงจะอุดมด้วยตัวดีแบบนี้ หลักฐานพิสูจน์สำคัญแม้แต่โรคสมอง พาร์กินสัน ที่ตัวแข็ง ฝืด มือสั่น ต้นตอผ่านมาจากระบบทางเดินอาหาร แทรกผ่านเข้าเส้นประสาทไปสมอง เหมือนในโรควัวบ้าที่ได้โปรตีนพิษวัวบ้าจากการกินเช่นกัน เส้นประสาทที่ว่าเป็นเส้นประสาทสมองเส้นที่ 10 (Vagus Nerve) ที่ผ่านลงมาควบคุมการทำงานของระบบทางเดินอาหารและเป็นสมมติฐานที่เชื่อถือกันมานาน (Braak hypothesis) ข้อสนับสนุนที่ว่านี้มาจากการศึกษาจากสวีเดน (รายงานในวารสารประสาทวิทยา เมษายน 2560) โดยการศึกษาเปรียบเทียบคนสวีดิชที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดเส้นประสาท Vagus…
