เมื่อวันที่ 25 ก.พ. ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานว่า เฟซบุ๊ก มูลนิธิวอชด็อก ไทยแลนด์ Watchdog Thailand Foundation – WDT ได้โพสต์ภาพส่วนหัวของแมว พร้อมข้อความ “#ฆ่าตัดหัวลูกแมวโยนเข้าไปในห้องพักชั่วคราวของช่างก่อสร้างอำเภอท่าชนะ จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี WDT รับเรื่องร้องเรียนเหตุการณ์โหดเหี้ยมจากห้องพักพนักงานของบริษัทแห่งหนึ่งในอำเภอท่าชนะ จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี มีคนตัดหัวลูกแมวแล้วโยนเข้าไปในห้องพักของพนักงาน ชิ้นเนื้อยังสดๆผู้เห็นเหตุการณ์เชื่อมคาดว่าเป็นการข่มขู่ในเรื่องราวและปัญหาส่วนบุคคล #แต่ที่เป็นเรื่องมาถึง WDT คือการฆ่าสัตว์อย่างโหดเหี้ยม จึงประสานให้ผู้ร้องเข้าแจ้งความเหตุทารุณกรรมสัตว์และระบุชื่อผู้ต้องสงสัยเพื่อให้เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจลงพื้นที่ตรวจสอบที่เกิดเหตุและเชิญตัวผู้ต้องสงสัยไปสอบถามติดตามการทำงานของ สภ. ท่าชนะครับ” ต่อมาเวลา 11.00 น. พ.ต.อ.ชุติพล เขมานุวงศ์ ผกก.ท่าชนะ สั่งการให้ พ.ต.ท.ยงยุทธ จันคง สว.สส.สภ.ท่าชนะ พร้อมพนักงานสืบสวนและ ประสานเจ้าหน้าที่ศูนย์พิสูจน์หลักฐาน 8 มาเก็บหลักฐานทางนิติวิทยาศาสตร์ ลงตรวจสอบที่เกิดเหตุเป็นที่พักชั่วคราวของคนงานช่างก่อสร้างหลังหนึ่งหมู่ที่ 11 ต.คลองพา อ.ท่าชนะ พบหัวแมวอยู่ในที่พัก ลักษณะแห้งมีขนาดประมาณ 4 เซนติเมตร ภายหลัง พ.ต.อ.ชุติพล เปิดเผยว่า เจ้าหน้าที่ศูนย์พิสูจน์หลักฐาน 8 ยังไม่สามารถยืนยันได้ว่า…
