Honda ทุ่ม 12,000 ล้านบาท ผลิตรถจักรยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า ตั้งเป้า 4 ล้านคันภายในปี 2030
ก่อนหน้านี้ Honda ได้มีการประกาศเป้าหมายว่าจะผลิตรถจักรยานยนต์ให้ได้ 500,000 คัน ภายในปี 2030 แต่ด้วยการเติบโตของตลาดรถไฟฟ้าจึงได้มีการเปลี่ยนเป้าใหม่เป็น 4 ล้านคัน โดยพุ่งเป้าไปที่ตลาดประเทศอินเดีย และแถบอาเซียน เนื่องจากเป็นโซนที่ใช้รถจักรยานยนต์มากเป็นอันดับต้นๆ ของโลก สำหรับงบประมาณการลงทุนนั้นอยู่ที่ 5 แสนล้านเยน หรือประมาณ 3.3 ล้านดอลลอาร์สหรัฐ หรือ 12,000 ล้านบาท แบ่งเป็นการลงทุน 1 แสนล้านเยน ในปี 2021-2025 ในเรื่องการวิจัยและพัฒนาออกแบบ ส่วนประกอบรถจักรยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า ส่วนอีก 4 แสนล้านเยน จนถึงปี 2030 เป็นงบประมาณการผลิต รวมไปถึงการตั้งโรงงานการผลิต 2 แห่งในประเทศอินเดีย และในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้แต่ยังไม่ระบุว่าเป็นประเทศไหน
