ผู้จัดการสุดสัปดาห์ – ถือเป็นผลสำรวจที่ทำให้สังคมไทยและคนไทยต้องย้อนกลับมาทบทวนตัวเองกันอีกครั้ง เมื่อ “กรมอนามัย” เปิดเผยผลสำรวจกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยพบว่า คนกรุงเทพฯ มีพฤติกรรมเนือยนิ่งสูง 79%” วิถีชีวิตประจำวันนั่งนาน “ติดที่-ติดโต๊ะ-ติดจอ” ทั้งนั่งเรียนและนั่งทำงานอยู่หน้าจอคอมฯ และหน้าจอมือถือ แม้บางส่วนออกกำลังกาย แต่ก็เกิดภาวะ “พฤติกรรมเนือยนิ่ง (Sedentary Lifestyle)” และแน่นอนว่า วิถีชีวิตดังกล่าวเป็นต้นเหตุของโรคไม่ติดต่อเรื้อรัง (NCDs) มีจำนวนผู้ป่วยทั่วโลกเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อยๆ จนองค์การอนามัยโลกออกมาเตือนให้ประชากรโลกขยับร่างกายให้มากขึ้น ข้อมูลจาก WHO Thailand เปิดเผยว่าโรคไม่ติดต่อเรื้อรัง หรือ noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) คร่าชีวิตประชาชนกว่า 1,000 คนต่อวัน หรือ 4 แสนคนต่อปี โดย NCDs ประกอบด้วย 4 โรคหลัก ได้แก่ โรคมะเร็ง โรคหัวใจและหลอดเลือด โรคเบาหวาน และโรคทางเดินหายใจเรื้อรัง รวมทั้งเกิดภาวะอ้วนลงพุง (Metabolic syndrome) และเพิ่มปัจจัยเสี่ยงต่อโรคมะเร็งหลายชนิด เช่น มะเร็งลำไส้ใหญ่ มะเร็งเยื่อบุโพรงมดลูก และ…
