The 2024 Poway Fall Festival will celebrate the autumn season with food trucks, a Beer & Wine Garden, music and entertainment on Sunday, Oct. 6.
The free annual event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Midland Road between Poway Road and Hilleary Place.
The Beer & Wine Garden will have refreshments provided by AleSmith Brewing Company, The Hop Stop, Barrel Riot craft wine and Bernardo Winery. The garden will be set up at the south end of the festival near the main stage, and more seating is being added this year to accommodate food and beverage customers.
A Kids Fun Zone will include jumps and slides. A fee of $10 is charged for each activity but a $30 unlimited/all-day pass will be available.
The event will also feature a classic car show and a fire engine display with firefighters and Sheriff’s staff in a Community Heroes section at the north end of the event.
The event, hosted by the Poway Chamber of Commerce, is one of its biggest fundraisers of the year.
Chamber President and CEO Mike Leland said proceeds from the festival go toward Chamber operations, including the Chamber’s community events.
“As we’re getting into a better and stronger financial position, we continue to look to put more money back into the community,” Leland said. “We’re growing a lot and we’re getting a lot of new members. People are hearing we’re holding high-quality events so we’ll definitely continue that.”
