PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – The Parkersburg Artists’ Conference held their third annual Piccalilli Artists’ Conference on Sept. 11 and 12.

The conference featured a variety of guest presenters and workshops. The Managing Director of the Parkersburg Art Center, Jessie Seifert, said the Piccalilli gave the public a chance to see what goes into professional artistry.

The Piccalilli set up shop in the art center and the Wood County Society.

Senta Goudy, the Director of WVU-P’s Center for Civic Engagement, said the Piccalilli brings a lot of opportunities to Parkersburg.

Guests could learn how to improve their preferred medium and learn a new one in the same day.
