Vendor at ag expo helps farmers increase soil health and crop yields

MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) — Most people see a paycheck on a regular schedule, but for farmers, it’s when their crops are harvested.

For producers, it’s important to get the most bang for your buck and the most out of your crop.

Farming is more than just putting a seed in the ground. Things like soil fertility and increased crop yields are commonly on farmers’ minds.

A KMOT Ag Expo vendor is helping farmers get the most out of their dime and their crop.

AgXplore is a plant nutrition-focused company that has two main sectors: plant nutrition as well as nitrogen and phosphorus phases.

The company’s goal is to help farmers increase their crop yields which in turn increases their profits.

David Rau, sales rep for AgXplore, said nitrogen is expensive this year, so they help growers navigate how much they need and in which fields to maximize soil health.

“One thing we pride ourselves on, the very ease of use application, so doesn’t change up your whole program, it’s just something you’re doing already with your current program,” said David Rau.

Rau said they work with producers and their crop choices to make a custom blend.

He said most of the company’s products are sprayed on the crop in the early development stages of crop growth.
