MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Dust off your show cars and come to the first show in our area for the year! This is an OPEN car show for all makes and models including antique and classic cars, Jeeps, Rat Rods, and beyond. This year’s event is again hosted by the Port City Corvette Club and will be on February 24th at the Government Street Baptist Church, 3401 Govt Blvd (Hwy 90@ I-65). Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. and the day continues until about 3:00 when awards will be presented for many different car categories and models.

There will be food trucks, DJ music and we have added attractions for kids of all ages with bounce houses, bungee trampolines and face painting. You won’t want to miss it.

This year’s event is a fundraiser for Wounded Warrior Alabama and local charities. Club president John O’Rourke is here to tell us about it.
