Actress and fashion icon Salma Hayek, for example, married – wait for it – the 36th richest man the world: François-Henri Pinault back in 2009. That’s right, Pinault, who currently serves as the CEO of luxury goods company Kering, has a net worth of approximately $35.2 billion, per Bloomberg.
But, despite his astounding fortune, the couple’s longtime marriage has proved naysayers wrong over the years. “You know, when I married him, everybody said, ‘Oh, it’s an arranged marriage, she married him for the money,’” Hayek said in an episode of the Armchair Expert podcast back in 2021, per Business Insider. “Think what you want. Fifteen years together, and we are strong in love.”
