
WAYLAND, MA — The Wayland Cultural Council has awarded funding to 15 local arts and culture projects ranging from a local Girl Scouts celebration to this year’s Chinese lunar new year celebration.
The Wayland Cultural Council is the local organization that administers funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which distributes state and federal money for local arts and culture programs.
Wayland recent $12,600 grant round will fund these 15 local projects:
- Artist’s Work for Golden Anklets, a Book about Bharatanatyam Dance
- Discovery Museum’s Open Door Connections
- Girl Scout’s Award Culture Celebrations
- Laura Sanchez Flamenco’s Performance
- Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild’s MA High School Drama Festival at Wayland High School
- Nancy Boyle Art’s Free Drawing for Teens
- The PASS Project’s Wayland Wellness Challenge
- Wayland Cultural Council’s Utility Box Project
- Wayland Chinese American Association’s Chinese Lunar New Year Celebration
- Wayland Concert Series’ Classical Concerts Series
- Wayland Council on Aging’s Summer Concert Series
- Wayland Free Public Library’s Performance of Peter & the Wolf by Storytime Quintet
- Wayland High School Robotics Club’s STEM Fair
- Wayland Historical Commission’s Signal Cabinet Vinyl Wrap
- Wayland Human Rights, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee’s Multicultural Festival
