HUNTINGTON, NY — The first ever Huntington Art Week is scheduled for Feb. 19 through Feb. 26.
The vibrant, week-long festival aims to celebrate the diverse arts and culture scene of Huntington.
During the event, residents and visitors alike can experience an exciting lineup of art exhibitions, live music, film screenings, workshops, and more.
Presented by Ben & Jerry’s Huntington and organized by digho and Colored Colors, this community-driven event aims to support local artists, engage residents, and boost local businesses. With more than 50 programs spanning various disciplines and venues, Huntington Art Week is a “must-attend experience for art lovers and the creatively curious,” the organizers said.

“Huntington Art Week will highlight the vital role arts and culture play in our Long Island communities, both culturally and economically,” Jose Tutiven, founder and CEO of Colored Colors, told Patch. “Huntington’s vibrant arts scene makes it the perfect home for this new initiative. With 50 programs supporting over 40 artists and arts-related small businesses this year, we’re excited to grow and expand our reach in the years to come.”
Diane M. Palma, partner and art director at digho, said the project started as a simple idea from the Huntington Chamber’s Art & Experiences committee. She called being a part of planning the event “a thrill.”
“Collaborating with the right people and presenting this program in the perfect location has resulted in a significant amount of involvement and excitement in a short period,” Palma said. “Huntington Village stands out as a vibrant and unique hub for the arts on Long Island, and Huntington Art Week will serve as an ideal platform to showcase its rich artistic community.”
