20-year-old man arrested and charged after stealing a car in West Baltimore, police say


Officers have arrested and charged 20-year-old Kareme Mcree after he stole a car Saturday night in West Baltimore, according to police.

On November 18, just after 8 p.m., officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) arrived to Pennsylvania Avenue at West North Avenue for a report of a stolen car.

Once officers arrived, the victim told them that when he was exiting his vehicle, an unidentified Black male suspect jumped into the victim’s car and fled the location.

District Action Team (D.A.T.) officers immediately began searching the area, and they found the victim’s car and the suspect in the 2400 block of Woodbrook Avenue, in the rear.

Officers arrested Mcree and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with stolen auto, theft and unlawful removal of a motor vehicle.
