The Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics announced its promotional schedule for the 2023-24 men’s basketball season today, Oct. 19. Eastern’s home schedule begins Saturday, Nov.11, against Georgia Southern at 12 p.m. as part of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge.

Saturday, Nov. 11 vs. Georgia Southern | 12 p.m.
Home Opener – Eastern Men’s Basketball kicks off another home season inside the George Gervin GameAbove Center. Fans at the game will get free schedule posters.
Military Appreciation Game – All active and former service members can claim free tickets through Eastern’s partnership with VetTix and will be recognized at the game.
Saturday, Nov. 18 vs. Cleveland State | 1 p.m. (Doubleheader)
Legacy Day: A celebration of EMU Basketball – Eastern Michigan will dedicate it’s court to former Head Coach Ben Braun and celebrate the program’s history. Rising Stars Night – EMU will host local youth/AAU teams and young hoopers from across the state to an exclusive evening featuring t-shirts, autographs, and meet and greet with the team.

Friday Night & Last Day of Classes Happy Hour – End the work week and semester with Happy Hour at the George Gervin GameAbove Center. All fans and students can enjoy discounted beer from gates open until tipoff and all GA tickets are 50% off.
Thursday, Dec. 21 vs. Hampton | 1 p.m.

Doubleheader – At 1 p.m., join the Eastern Women’s team for their game against Toledo as they celebrate Swoop’s Birthday Party at the game! A mascot and hero extravaganza!

Blackout Game – Be loud and wear black as we battle rival Central Michigan.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration – Join EMU as we commemorate the life and impact of Martin Luther King Jr. as part of the campus-wide celebration.

First Responder Appreciation – All First Responders and Frontline workers can claim free tickets for the game, with family members and guests also receiving 50% off their tickets.

Doubleheader – At 1 p.m., join the Eastern Women’s team for their game against Northern Illinois as they start off Retro Arcade Day.
