First released in 1977, the Russian 4X4 has remained largely unchanged for its entire production life, but the inclusion of LED lighting doesn’t quite propel it into the modern age. The first car to use LED running lamps was the 2004 Audi A8, where the first complete LED headlamp unit was launched in the 2006 Lexus LS600h.
