STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Arts & Culture Commission on Wednesday announced that it is accepting applications for the 2025 Stamford Arts & Culture (SAC) Grant. This grant funds arts and cultural programming and art projects in the city of Stamford.
The Stamford Arts & Culture Commission has provided funding for numerous arts and culture focused projects through Stamford-based arts and cultural organizations. This year, the city has allocated $197,245 in grant funding for the Arts & Culture Commission to distribute to nonprofit organizations and artists.
“Every year, the programming that comes out of the Stamford Arts and Culture Application process brings about spirited and unique art and cultural projects and performances that enhance the vibrancy of our community,” said Mayor Caroline Simmons in a news release. “I want to express my gratitude to Director of Economic Development Leah Kagan, Chair of the Arts & Culture Commission Lynne Colatrella, members of the Arts & Culture Commission, and Program Manager Aaron Miller, for their dedication and work to expand arts and culture programming in our city.”
