The Core Ensemble and the Arts at St. Andrew’s program celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day early this Friday with “Heroines of Voting Rights,” a performance that features cellist Ju Young Lee, pianist Alfonso Hernandez, percussionist Michael Parola, and actress Tiffany Terrell celebrate the lives and contributions of two historical figures, Ida B. Wells and Fannie Lou Hamer. Don’t miss it!

See the seventh annual “Waste to Wonder” exhibition at Resource Depot in West Palm Beach.

In an eco-friendly approach to the old phrase “one person’s trash is another person’s treasure,” the seventh annual “Waste to Wonder” exhibition at Resource Depot is on display January 17 through February 22. The group show features 18 artists who were tasked to create new works using items from the organization’s eclectic collection of found objects. The result is a fascinating look at how everyday items can become true works of art—see it soon!
