Dallas College Galleries is pleased to present this special summer exhibition, displaying the 2025 Fordham Visual Art Award winners as well as John Albok’s famous street photographs part of Dallas College’s Permanent Art Collection.
The Cecil Wallace Fordham Award in Visual Arts is presented each year to an outstanding art student at each of the seven campuses of Dallas College. Each Fordham winner receives a cash award and the opportunity to participate in an annual art exhibition; this year the exhibition is taking place at Brookhaven in the Forum Gallery. Stop in to see wonderful artwork created by distinguished art students from each Dallas College campus.
Alongside our Fordham Award recipients, the gallery will also feature a special exhibition of several original gelatin silver prints by famed Hungarian American street photographer, John Albok. Most famous for capturing life in New York City during the 1930’s and 40’s at the height of the great depression and World War 2. This is the first time these images have been publicly displayed since the college reorganization, so you don’t want to miss them!
Exhibition runs June 2nd – July 3rd. Galleries are open Monday – Friday 10am-4pm. For questions contact: [email protected].
