If you’re looking for something a little more low key, the city is also hosting a number of festive-themed markets, while retailers are offering some tempting festive deals.

1. K-Farm Mid-Autumn Festival Market

Lovers of all things handmade will be over the moon with the K-Farm Mid-Autumn Festival Market at Belcher Bay Promenade in Kennedy Town on September 14.

Organised by Handmade Hong Kong, a creative community that unites crafters in the city, the family-fun night market (it runs from 1pm-9pm) showcases independent vendors selling handmade wares from bags, jewellery, home accessories, art, stationery and children’s accessories.

2. Nuage Et Bloom’s Gift Set

It is customary during the Mid-Autumn Festival to decorate homes with flowers that, in Chinese culture, symbolise beauty, love, and good fortune. Chrysanthemums, osmanthus, and orchids are popular choices.
