Eagles vs. Huskies

Women’s college hockey with Boston College Eagles vs. Northeastern University Huskies on Saturday, Nov. 25, at 2 p.m. at Dorothy Talbot Rink, 32 Cherry St. in Gloucester. This family event is hosted by Gloucester 400+ Athletic Committee. Tickets, $5, at www.Gloucesterma400.org.

Ornament sale

Rockport Art Association & Museum’s annual hand-painted benefit ornament sale kicks off Friday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m., at 12 Main St., Rockport. These one-of-a-kind tiny paintings by juried artist members are $50. The ornaments include holiday scenes, landscapes, seascapes, nocturnes, animals, still life and other compositions. The sale continues while supplies last.

Tabletop gaming

Game Night returns to the Great Hall at Hammond Castle Museum, 80 Hesperus Ave., Gloucester, on Friday, Nov. 24, from 5-10 p.m. Many games are available, including Hammond Naval Warfare, a naval strategy game designed by inventor John Hays Hammond Jr., or bring your own to play. Holiday Pops

Cape Ann Symphony presents its annual Holiday Pops Concert, featuring vocal powerhouse Renese King, a pianist, songwriter and director of the New England Gospel Ensemble. There are three concerts over two days, on Saturday, Nov. 25 and Sunday, Nov. 26. Details, tickets, www.capeannsymphony.org.

Santa Parade

The Holiday Santa Parade and Kent Circle Tree Lighting take place Sunday, Nov. 26; the parade starts at 3 p.m. at the Jodrey State Fish Pier, and the tree-lighting ceremony will begin shortly after the parade arrives at Kent Circle. Santa will remain at Kent Circle after the parade to meet with children and pose for pictures in his sleigh. Complimentary popcorn and hot chocolate will be available.
