Since the cost-of-living crisis hit, many of us have tried to reduce our energy usage to lower our bills, yet we’re also increasingly aware of the environmental impact of our long showers, tumble dryers and cooking habits.
Monday marks Earth Day, a reminder that we urgently need to change our behaviours and limit our consumption to protect our ecosystem. We’re not far off Earth Overshoot Day either; falling on May 2, it represents the date when we have used up all our ecological resources for the year, which means we spend the rest of the year in debt to our planet.
