Demi Lovato’s mother, Dianna De La Garza, has given her approval to her daughter’s recent engagement to Jordan “Jutes” Lutes.
Jutes, 32, proposed to Lovato a few days later, and the latter’s mother celebrated the engagement by welcoming Lutes into the family.
De La Garza commented in the comments section of People Magazine’s Instagram post announcing the musical couple’s engagement, “Welcome to our family, @jutesmusic WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! And I love you @ddlovato [heart emoji] You’re the most perfect couple!!!”
Lutes, moved by the gesture, reacted to his mother-in-law in the comments section, stating, “love you! Thank you for having me [three black heart emojis].”
De La Garza concluded the heartfelt exchange with a last round of hearts in response to Lutes’ sentiments.
Before becoming engaged, the Heart Attack singer dated Lutes, who is also a musician.
Lutes reportedly proposed with a pear-shaped diamond solitaire engagement ring manufactured to order.
Lutes and Lovato celebrated their “personal and intimate” proposal with their families at Craig’s, one of their favorite Los Angeles restaurants.
