Selena Gomez knows precisely what she wants in a man, and her current boyfriend Benny Blanco appears to have it all.

The Same Old Love diva offered her relationship checklist in a translated interview with Vogue México / Latinoamérica published Thursday, emphasizing the need of self-respect and communication.

“It’s very hard to find someone who can listen to you and care about you,” the singer and actress, 31, told Page Six, adding, “but I know when it happens it will be great and you will want it to be healthy.”

Although she did not specifically identify Blanco, with whom she recently confirmed her romance, the piece highlighted that she did confirm their romance while it was being written.

The former Disney star and record producer Blanco, 35, began dating in 2019 when they worked on the song “I Can’t Get Enough.”

Despite having maintained a close connection over the years and covertly dating for the previous six months, Gomez didn’t formally acknowledge their romance until December 7 and then launched on a series of social media rants to defend Blanco after fans began attacking him.

The Good For You singer has since made her new flame’s Instagram official, adding several romantic photographs of her boo on her Instagram, though Blanco hasn’t said much about the relationship.
