Bradley Cooper Rushes from Maestro Press Conference for Daughter Lea

On Thursday afternoon, Bradley Cooper made an unexpected exit from a press appearance for his new Netflix feature, Maestro, in New York.

The man who plays composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein in the film unexpectedly exited the press conference 20 minutes in, leaving everyone perplexed.

Cooper, who has shared custody of his six-year-old daughter Lea with ex-wife Irina Shayk, looked down at his phone and apologized, saying, “So sorry. The school nurse just called me. Can I just leave the room for a second to call them back, and you can keep going. Is that all right?”

Cooper spilled the beans upon his return, exposing the cause for his abrupt leave. “I have to go to the school to do something with Lea that needs… I have to apply something that they won’t allow…. I have to do it, so it’s like a 10-minute walk.”

Cooper was photographed in New York on December 15, juggling fatherhood and fashion.

The actor, dressed in a black puffer jacket, gray slacks, and eye-catching black and red Nikes, strode behind his energetic kid.

Little Lea looked adorable in a white blouse, light blue patterned leggings, and a trendy long navy blue puffer coat.
