Mariah Carey seemed to be brimming with joyful energy on her customary Christmas trip to Aspen, with no signs of grief following her breakup with Bryan Tanaka.

This week, it was disclosed that she had ended her seven-year relationship with Bryan Tanaka, 40, who had initially worked as her backup dancer.

Bryan has always been a mainstay on Mariah’s Aspen vacations, but this time she went without him.

His absence fanned rumors of their divorce, which were later confirmed by a source who told Page Six that they split up because he wants children and she doesn’t.

But when Mariah, 54, appeared in Aspen on Friday, beaming with holiday joy as she went down the sidewalk, she exhibited no signs of stress.

Johnny Stuntz, a famous hairstylist who has worked on numerous of her looks this holiday season, followed her attentively.

She wore a mink coat, glittering leggings, a pair of stiletto Louboutins in black leather, and a Chanel hat perched on her head.

Before Mariah and Bryan’s news was confirmed to Page Six on Wednesday, they had been struggling with split rumors.

The source clarified, pointing out the long-term couple’s 14-year age difference. “He wants to have a family. That’s not where she is at.”

Bryan has not been seen with Mariah since Bryan posted an Instagram snapshot of the two of them in March to wish her a happy anniversary.

Bryan, on the other hand, hasn’t been on Mariah’s Instagram page in nearly a year; his last visit was on Boxing Day in 2022.

Mariah is presently relaxing in Aspen after one of her expensive Christmas concert tours, which have become a yearly tradition.
