Dyson fans are rushing to snap up the Air Wrap as its been slashed to its cheapest ever price in Boots and John Lewis’ Boxing Day sales. While desirable, the Dyson Air Wrap is normally out of reach for many in terms of budget.
But now fans of Dyson who don’t want to fork out hundreds to get their hands on the famous brand’s bestselling hair tool have a chance to bag the Air Wrap for a fraction of the price. It’s still not cheap, but it’s the cheapest I’ve seen as a fashion and beauty editor.
In its limited-time Boxing Day sale, Boots has reduced the price of the Dyson Airwrap Multi-styler in its popular Nickel and Copper colour to one of the cheapest I’ve seen as a fashion and beauty editor for a brand new model. Normally £479.99, the Dyson Air Wrap is currently £399.99 at Boots, but appears to be selling out quickly at this price point.

Launching in 2018, the Dyson Airwrap transformed the world of hair tools, and quickly became a cult beauty product for many. It uses the Coanda effect rather than excessive heat, playing with air pressure to style hair in a much healthier way, providing incredible results.
It’s had thousands of glowing five-star ratings, with many beauty buffs impressed by its multiple functions. One Boots shopper who bought it wrote: “Absolutely love it, still playing with the different attachments, so far love them all as does my hair. Superb styling product.”
Another said: “One of the best beauty investments I’ve ever made. It doesn’t dry my hair up regardless how long I dry and style my hair unlike my previous dryer. Yes, it’s on the expensive side, but if you use it on daily basis, you’ll get the most bang for your buck.”
Somebody else wrote: “I bought this on Black Friday sale, first of all the colour is stunning, the blue is really vibrant which makes using the device even better. Reporter Bethan Shufflebotham previously reviewed the Dyson Airwrap and rated it better than the cheaper Shark FlexStyle alternative, praising it for it’s easy of use, speed and results. She said “Aesthetically, it’s a very pretty device and really looks the part. It’s lightweight, and has a seamless and well thought out design that makes switching from hot to cool a breeze, if you’ll pardon the pun.
“It creates beautiful salon-worthy curls in minutes, leaving my hair looking smooth and bouncy. Had I left the salon with my hair looking as it did on the right, I’d have been very pleased.
“What’s more is that there’s no need to faff around swapping barrels for different curl directions, like you do with the Shark. There’s a little toggle on the top of the barrel that will change the direction of the airflow, so you only need to use one.
“Of course, Shark’s FlexStyle does have the benefit of a much lower price and offers similar results. However, I found that my hair still looked quite frizzy and the curls dropped quickly. I’m sure with the help of styling products a smoother look that holds better could be achieved, but I can’t help but feel that when you spend hundreds of pounds on a device, it should do all that heavy lifting for you.”
Boots isn’t the only major retailer to have slashed the price of the Dyson Air Wrap. It’s also been heavily discounted at John Lewis, where beauty buffs can snap up the Dyson Airwrap Multi-Styler and Dryer with Presentation Case and Complimentary Comb in the popular Blue Blush colour for £399.99, instead of £479.99.
If you don’t want to splash out £400 on a Dyson Air Wrap, the BaByliss Air Style 1000 is proving hugely popular. Normally £75, the BaByliss Air Style 1000 has been slashed to less than £50 for a limited time at Boots.
