Death of Taylor Swift Fan at Scorching Rio Performance Verified

According to forensics, a Taylor Swift fan died from heat exhaustion during the singer’s November Rio event.

Ana Clara Benevides, 23, died from “heat exhaustion” after attending Swift’s concert in Rio de Janeiro on November 17th.

The music fan died at a local hospital after becoming ill after the Anti-Hero hitmaker’s scorching November Brazil gig. The temperature in the city that day was around 40 degrees Celsius (105 degrees Fahrenheit).

Swifties had to wait in line for several hours before the show. A big number of concertgoers accused organizers of failing to provide enough water for the more than 60,000 people that packed the Nilton Santos Stadium. They claimed they were not permitted to bring their own water into the stadium.

According to the Forensic Medical Institute of Rio, Benevides’ heat exposure resulted in a cardiorespiratory arrest. It also said that she had no prior diseases or substance misuse that could have contributed to her death.

According to the forensics specialist who examined her body, she experienced “serious compromise of her lungs and sudden death” as a result of the heat.
