WALDOBORO — The Waldo Theatre, 916 Main St., announces audition dates for the play “Now and Then,” which will be staged at The Waldo beginning in March. Written by Sean Grennan, “Now and Then” is a heartfelt romantic comedy about the costs of the choices we make, and their impact on the people who make them with us.

An open casting call for this community theater play will be held Sunday, Jan. 7, from 1 to 4 p.m., and Monday, Jan. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. Members of the local community — both experienced and inexperienced — are invited to audition for roles including two men (one age 55+/one age 20 to 45) and two women (one age 55+/one age 20 to 45). The performances are currently scheduled for March 30, and April 5, 6 and 7.
