Jimmy Kimmel is responding to Aaron Rodgers’ nasty words in his own unique way. Following a scathing allegation by an NFL player that his name might be on a list of persons affiliated with the late, infamous billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
“There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, who are really hoping [the list] doesn’t come out. … I’ll tell you what, if that list comes out, I’ll definitely will be popping some sort of bottle,” the New York Jets player said in a recent interview with Pat McAfee Show.
A New York judge is reportedly on the verge of releasing roughly 200 identities related with Epstein, including coworkers, former employees, Ghislaine Maxwell, and others who have flown on his planes. So far, only John and Jane Does’ identities have been revealed in court filings.
In response to Rodgers’ words, the host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! threatened to sue him on X (previously Twitter).
“Dear A***ho**: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality,” Kimmel wrote in an email.
“Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.”
Following Rodgers’ mention of UFOs and the Epstein list on an earlier episode of the Pat McAfee Show, the football player’s most recent remarks appeared to be a reaction to a joke made by host Jimmy Kimmel on his late-night show the previous year.
Epstein committed suicide in August 2019 while detained and awaiting prosecution for s*x trafficking. According to the Associated Press, he was accused of enticing many young girls to his homes by suggesting they would give him massages and then sexually abusing them.
