Reese Witherspoon was accompanied by her 20-year-old son Deacon Phillippe to the 2024 Golden Globes.
The 47-year-old actress graced the red carpet with her son on Sunday, January 7.
Speaking exclusively in an interview, Deacon revealed that this was his “first Golden Globes,” as well as his “first awards show.”
He also said that he prepared before of time, adding that the Wild actress had urged him to acknowledge “main things” while attending the concert, stating: “There’s two main things: gum, hand sanitizer and be nice to everyone.”
The Just Like Heaven alum’s son stated that he was “following her tonight,” confessing that his mother is evidently “the party animal,” while he is “just trying to keep up.”
Deacon looked dapper as he followed his mother’s lead at the star-studded event.
He wore a classic black tuxedo alongside the Legally Blonde star, who wore a black-pink off-the-shoulder dress.
This is the duo’s second appearance this week. Previously, the celebrity attended the Amazon x Vanity Fair Awards Season Party alongside her kid.
Witherspoon and ex-husband Ryan Phillippe have a son named Deacon together. She also has two children, Tennesse, 11, and Ava, 24.
