Keke Palmer Receives an Additional Six Months Against Ex-Darius Jackson

Keke Palmer’s case against ex Darius Jackson appears to be taking longer than planned, as the actress’s interim domestic violence restraining order against him is extended for an additional six months.

The restraining order was extended after the two parties agreed to postpone their Tuesday hearing, according to court papers obtained by Page Six.

The restraining order is also set to expire on July 16, the impending court date.

According to the filing, the couple has postponed the hearing because they are “engaged in mediation before a private judge.”

Palmer, 30, received a temporary restraining order on November 10, 2023, after accusing Jackson of verbal and physical assault.

In her complaint, she outlined two alleged attacks, one of which she claimed occurred on November 5 after she expressed her desire that their then 8-month-old son, Leodis “Leo,” not attend a football game.

“At that point, he lunged at me, grabbing at my neck and face, knocked me backwards over the couch, stole my phone out of my hands and then ran out of the house,” she claimed in court records, according to Page Six.

She also provided scary security camera photos of the incident, which appeared to corroborate her story.

In addition to the restraining order, the Nope actress demanded sole custody of Leo, which was granted temporarily.

Jackson subsequently filed for his own restraining order in late December, claiming that Palmer had been “verbally and physically abusive” throughout their relationship and even labelling her as the “primary aggressor.”
