John Krasinski and Emily Blunt stirred rumours of marital problems after a red carpet scene at the Golden Globe Awards event on Sunday, January 7.

In a video circulating on the internet, the Office alum is seen mouthing something to his wife while posing for a selfie on the carpet.

Fans were baffled as they tried to make out the words with the help of amateur lip readers, sharing their own assumptions on social media.

One of the assumptions, however, caused a stir among online users since it suggested marital problems between the pair.

According to Page Six, a user commented on the video: “Did he say I can’t wait to divorce? And she said hey and he stated I’m serious…”

“I’ve watched this 500 times trying to convince myself he said something other than divorce,” another user confirmed.

Meanwhile, others dismissed the rumours, claiming the Fantastic Four actor said, “‘I can’t wait to get indoors’ it was really windy and cold.”

“You can hear her say ‘It’s actually kinda chilly right now.’ And he responds, ‘I can’t wait to get indoors,’” another observer noted.
