Bo Dallas’ WWE Roster Status Despite Extended Television Absence

Bray Wyatt was taken from us far too soon, and there were creative plans in the pipeline when he passed away. His real-life brother, Bo Dallas, was brought back to WWE as Uncle Howdy, but that storyline was cut drastically short. It seems that Howdy is still on the WWE roster.

When Bray Wyatt faced health issues last year, WWE took him and his brother Bo Dallas, who portrayed the mysterious Uncle Howdy character, off television. All of their stories, whatever genius they were building toward, was stopped suddenly.

Initially, there was an expectation that the duo would return together once Bray Wyatt recovered. Unfortunately, that scenario never materialized, as Wyatt tragically passed away at the age of 36 due to a heart attack during sleep.

PW Insider has now confirmed that, despite not being utilized, Dallas is still employed by the company.

Bo Dallas spent 13 years with WWE, with his tenure ending in April 2021, when he was released due to budget cuts. His final in-ring performance occurred in November 2019.

We will have to see if WWE ever brings Bo Dallas back to television for any reason. He may just have that Uncle Howdy gear around, so there is always a chance that they could figure out something they may do that could pay homage to the genius Eater of Worlds we lost.
