On Sunday, a United Airlines flight was thrown into chaos when a passenger discovered a message claiming a bomb was on board. According to officials, the pilot of the flight from Newark, New Jersey, to Burlington, Vermont, was informed of the threat just 20 minutes before landing. The flight landed around 1:45 p.m., but passengers could not deplane for two hours, and the airport was also closed for many hours. Passengers were released after an investigation by a K-9 unit. Despite the note, authorities discovered no real threat, and no one was arrested or injured. Yet, the probe continues.
