This week, Suga from BTS has to join the military, and his reps have told fans not to show up at his “place of work.”

BIGHIT Music, the company that controls Suga, wrote on the South Korean app Weverse that the musician’s military service will start on September 22.

BIGHIT said, “There will not be any official events taking place on the day he starts his service or on the day he enters the training camp,” BIGHIT stated. “We kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting Suga at his workplace during the period of his service. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts only.”

Suga’s enlistment was reported last year, and fans were told that the band would not be able to perform together again until 2025 because they had to serve their home country.

A fan of the musician translated a live show that the musician did on Weverse. He told his friends not to be sad about him joining the army and that he would be done in 2025.

Suga is the third member of the group to join the service. Jin and J-Hope went before him.

Suga’s solo record, D-DAY, came out in April under the name Agust D, just before he went into the military. His August D-DAY tour just came to an end.
