People who live near Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to be sick of the way the couple acts. They say they can’t wait for the Sussexes to leave.
Locals are apparently upset with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s way of life. One of the couple’s Montecito neighbors said, “Meghan is high and mighty and we cannot wait for her to go.”
A new study says that most people in the area don’t like the Sussex family, and that the Duchess’s attitude is a big reason why.
One neighbor told the Daily Express that she is “manipulating” her husband, Prince Harry. On Monday, the former Suits star’s own father, Thomas Markle, also said that she is “manipulating” her husband.
The neighbor also said that they weren’t the only ones who didn’t like the Duchess, and that her behavior has upset everyone in the area.
Thomas Markle said on Good Morning Britain that Meghan isn’t the daughter he used to know. When asked if he thought Harry was to blame, he said, “I don’t know if I should blame her or Harry. I think that she has more of an effect on Harry than he does on her.
One has already talked about how, when Meghan and Harry first moved in, he tried to make them feel welcome by showing them movies about the history of the exclusive Californian area, but the Sussexes weren’t interested.
Harry and Meghan left the UK for the US in 2020 when they quit their royal jobs. They now live in a £11.5 million home in Montecito, which is near Santa Barbara, California, with their children. The couple’s house has 16 beds, a tennis court, and a swimming pool outside. A lot of famous people live in the area, like Oprah Winfrey, Bruce Willis, Tom Cruise, and Fred Couples.
But Meghan and Harry’s neighbors don’t seem to like the way they act or talk very much, as they have complained about them many times for different reasons.
In a recent poll, 33 percent of people said they didn’t like Meghan, while 31 percent said they did. This gave Meghan a net approval rate of -2. This is eight points less than the last poll the outlet did in June.
According to a Newsweek poll, 39% of people who answered liked Harry and 27% didn’t, giving him a net approval rate of +12. This is also less than the last poll, which put him at +18.
