Kid Cudi Accused of Satanism to ‘Get Relevant Again’

Add Kid Cudi to the list of Hollywood artists who have been accused of Satanism.

Born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, the rapper sparked outrage when he unveiled not one, but two massive sculptures of himself to promote his just released album, Insano.

The towering 30-foot monuments, one in Paris and the other on a yacht in Long Beach, California, depicted the Pursuit of Happiness maestro with outstretched arms, hollow eye sockets, and a mouth emitting beams of red and blue light.

Unsurprisingly, the show fueled speculation that the Grammy winner had sold his soul to the devil.

One furious Instagram user wrote, “Sad sad cudi sold his soul and had to wear a dress to become relevant again [face palm emoji],” while another added, “Pure satanic s*** [throwing up emoji].”

A third even stated that Kid Cudi was “putting in his application for illuminati king,” while another claimed that the conduct was just “blasphemous.”

Insano, Cudi’s ninth studio album, represents his return to music after implying that his rap career was coming to an end more than a year before.

The album, which was released Friday, features a stellar array of contributors, including A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, Young Thug, and more.
