Meghan Markle, who is claimed to be concerned about the future of her and Prince Harry’s Netflix deal, may use her gold mine project to deal with the financial difficulties.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix subscription is about to expire, leaving many wondering what the couple will do next to maintain their opulent lifestyle in the United States.
It remains to be known what Harry and Meghan’s next power play will be, despite speculation about future book agreements, endorsements, and even real estate transactions.
However, one expert believes the former Hollywood actress is already sitting on a “gold mine” that the pair can profit from.
According to royal analyst Tom Bower, Meghan’s autobiography might make a lot of money for the pair, but it could also hurt the royal family.
“The only thing she has got left – and I think that is her potential gold mine – is her autobiography. She has a very very vivid imagination and she’ll be able to spell out an amazing story… to increase her income,” he told Talk TV.
The article went on to imply that Meghan’s acting career ended long before her marriage into the royal family.
“The problem is, she isn’t a great actress. Her acting career ended long before she arrived in London – that’s why she came here. She couldn’t find any more work after Suits.”
On the other hand, Harry and Meghan’s company, Archewell Productions, is thought to be battling rising entertainment industry costs following last year’s actor and writer strikes in Hollywood.
It has now been speculated that Harry and Meghan are facing a “make-or-break year” that could lead to a financial crisis.
However, some academics and historians have sent stern warnings to the Sussexes, with some believing it would backfire due to the couple’s lack of other unique content on their roster.
It’s worth noting that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s parents, who are currently enjoying their five-year $100 million (£78 million) contract with the streaming network, have only one new project planned with the platform.
