Helen Skelton is beaming with excitement following her emotional breakdown on BBC Morning Live.

On Monday, the 40-year-old broadcaster was seen for the first time after losing control of her emotions during the show.

The heartfelt moment was caused by the death of Dave Marsh, the father of presenter and actress Kym Marsh, who was honoured on the show.

The BBC Morning Live broadcaster, who just finalised her divorce from ex-husband Richie Myler, left the Manchester studios with a beaming smile.

It was announced last week that the Strictly actress and her rugby star ex, 33, who filed for divorce from their 10-year marriage over two years ago, are legally divorced.

Helen and Richie, who have three children, married in 2013 and split in April 2022, with Helen announcing on Instagram that her husband had left the family home.

Richie is currently in a relationship with Stephanie Thirkill, 33, the daughter of Leeds Rhinos president Andrew Thirkill, for whom he played from 2017 to last year.

The pair began dating immediately after Helen and Richie split up, and they had their first child together a year later.
