LOUISVILLE – Emmeline Polevoi won her third straight singles match to start the season in a 6-1 loss to Louisville on Saturday at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
To begin the dual match, the Cardinals won all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point.
In singles play, the matches on the top five courts lasted three sets. Polevoi won her singles match from the No. 4 spot, 6-4, 6-7 (3-7), 6-2.
Louisville won their singles matches from the other five courts to earn the win.
