It was a tough day of competition for the Lindenwood women’s tennis team as they dropped their contest to the University of St. Thomas 4-0 on Sunday morning.
Yana Gaskell fell in both sets 6-4 to Jannah El Nemr, Jordan Le recorded six love and 6-1 against Olivia Paradise and Eveline Nilsson dropped her sets 6-2 and six love to Yinong Ma in singles action.
For doubles, two teams competed for each program. Juliana Kulczynski and Gaskell fell 6-2 to Paradise and Ma, while Le and Nilsson dropped their match 6-1 to El Nemr and Caroline Lindahl.
Women’s tennis will be back in action again tomorrow, January 21st at 9:00 am as they travel to St. Paul, Minnesota, to face the University of St. Thomas.
Lindenwood will host Valparaiso University on January 28th at 7:00 pm in St. Charles, Missouri.
