Sophie Turner’s New Claims About Joe Jonas Make Him Look Very ‘Sad’

Joe Jonas had a serious talk with his brother Nick at a recent dinner. This was around the same time that his ex-wife Sophie Turner filed a lawsuit against him.

In the middle of claims that the pop star’s ex-girlfriend said he had kept their children’s passports and stopped them from going to the UK to see her.

On Wednesday night, the 34-year-old musician was seen eating dinner with his younger brother. It seemed like the father of two was looking for help from Nick as he went through the rough end of his four-year marriage and worked out who would get custody of their three- and one-year-old girls.

An eyewitness told DailyMail.com that the brothers were in “deep conversation” when they met up at The Waverly Inn, which is just three blocks from where Turner had a girls’ night out with his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift earlier this week.

On Thursday, Joe gave a shocking response to his ex-wife Sophie Turner’s claims. She had asked for the “immediate return” of their children, saying that they were being “wrongfully held.”

New court papers say that Turner is suing Joe to try to move their two children back to the UK, where she was born.

“This is an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending. When language like “abduction” is used, it is misleading at best, and a serious abuse of the legal system at worst. The children were not abducted. After being in Joe’s care for the past three months at the agreement of both parties, the children are currently with their mother. Sophie is making this claim only to move the divorce proceedings to the UK and to remove the children from the U.S. permanently,” the insider said.

Jonas’s rep also said that the singer had “already disavowed any and all statements purportedly made on his behalf that were disparaging of Sophie.”

“They were made without his approval and are not consistent with his views. His wish is that Sophie reconsider her harsh legal position and move forward in a more constructive and private manner,” according to the statement.

“His only concern is the well-being of his children.”

The representative also rejected Turner’s claim that she didn’t know he was filing for divorce.
