During a recent date night, the engaged couple disguised themselves as cosmic glam aliens, elevating their romance to new heights.

On January 21st, the American Idol judge shared a carousel of photos highlighting her and Orlando’s tremendous turnaround.

She went all out for her extraterrestrial look, replete with flesh-colored antennae on her forehead and ear prosthesis pointed at the points, as is characteristic for Katy.

She also concealed her natural brows and used makeup to artistically create a sculpted arch on the brow bone. The E.T. singer donned glossy purple iridescent makeup that touched her temples to match her dress.

The look was completed with dramatic fake lashes, a delicate pink blush, and a matching lip tint.

Katy paired her celestial-inspired gown with a latex panel and a sheer, nude corset bodice embellished with diamonds, which complemented her futuristic makeup.

Along with a flowing cloak, the off-the-shoulder style featured pleated cloth that flowed across her torso and chest.

The Lord of the Rings actor dressed traditionally in a black-and-white tuxedo, but injected flair with pointed ear prosthesis and an emphasised brow bone.

The couple employed three special effects makeup artists: Hugo Villasenor, Analyn Cruz, and Gabby Navarrete. Katy’s makeup was also done by Patrick Ta, who revealed on Instagram that it was for a themed party.
