Keefe D, Tupac’s Suspected Killer, Is Struggling to Raise Bail Money

It is possible that Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who is accused of killing Tupac, may not be able to walk free in the near future before his trial.

Davis, who is responsible for the murder of the legendary rapper Tupac Shakur, was granted release by a judge in Las Vegas; nevertheless, it has been reported that he is having difficulty raising the substantial amount of $750,000 that was set as his bond.

Davis is unable to raise the bail money that would provide him temporary freedom on house arrest with electronic monitoring as he waits for his trial that is scheduled to take place in June, according to a person close to Davis who disclosed this information to The Sun. Davis is known to be feeling “dejected” as a result of this.

According to the source, “His family does not have a lot of money, and their intention was to use the house that they live in as collateral for a bail bond company.” But this is proving to be difficult.”

Prosecutors for Davis initially resisted Davis’ request for bail, stating that he was “too dangerous” to be released from jail. However, the court granted Davis’ bail, citing a lack of physical evidence as the reason for his decision.

However, despite the fact that Davis’ attorneys had urged that the bond amount not exceed $100,000, the judge decided to impose it seven times more than that amount.
