The Second Cancer Diagnosis for Sarah Ferguson Is ‘Very Serious’

Sarah Ferguson’s health concern, the third in the royal family, appears to be far worse than predicted.

The Duchess of York was diagnosed with skin cancer only six months after having a mastectomy to combat breast cancer, her representative revealed to several publications on Sunday.

Fergie has been diagnosed with “the worst” form of skin cancer, but she is recovering from surgery at the Mayrlife resort in Austria with her kids, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, according to close friends.

She had the malignant melanoma removed and is currently waiting for test results to determine what additional therapy (or treatments) she may require.

The ex-wife of disgraced Prince Andrew is the latest royal to declare a health scare.

Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, is still in the hospital recovering from extensive stomach surgery, as stated last week on Wednesday.

Only 90 minutes later, Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles will seek treatment for an irritated prostate.

King Charles welcomed Fergie back into the royal family fold during Christmas as she walked with the family to Sandringham for the morning ceremony.

While the author’s skin cancer diagnosis came as a “shock and a blow,” a friend told People Magazine that Fergie is “very resilient and in good spirits.”
