Chris Young Was Detained for Attacking an Official While Under the Influence

Chris Young has been arrested following an alleged incident in a Nashville pub.

According to People, the 38-year-old country musician was charged with disorderly behaviour, assaulting a police officer, and resisting arrest at the DawgHouse Saloon on Monday, January 22.

He allegedly punched an Alcoholic Beverage Commission agent on the shoulder while following them from Tin Roof to the DawgHouse.

Young was with his pals at Tin Roof when the agents arrived to do a compliance check.

After they left to check on DawgHouse, the Tomorrow singer and his companions approached the officials and “struck” one on the shoulder.

He also started “yelling and screaming” at the agents, according to an affidavit obtained by the site. The musician was eventually “physically detained” by the two officers.

The singer’s “slurred” voice and “bloodshot” eyes suggest he was intoxicated at the time of the brawl.

The Man I Want To Be artist has been released on $250 bail for disorderly conduct, $1,000 for resisting arrest, and $1,250 for assault.

On February 16th, he is scheduled to appear in court.
