Where does our food come from and how do we keep it safe? Earlier this week, the Senate Committee on Agriculture talked about that and took testimony about food and where our food comes from.

What can we do in Vermont and New England to increase food security and access while building food resilience in our region? The “New England Feeding New England” project has been exploring this question and what it would take to grow, raise, produce, harvest and catch more food in our region.  The New England Food System Planners Partnership, which is comprised of six statewide organizations from each New England state has been leading this project and discussion.
